The launch of BN Manifesto, “A Promise Of Hope” at Stadium Putra Bukit Jalil on April 4, 2013 was very cheerful as it was not just attended by its members, it also attracted the public that audience had to listen from the outside of the stadium.

The environment around the stadium compound was packed with people. Thankfully, a few big screens were provided by the organizer which enables people from the outside to follow the update.

BN Manifesto was officially launched by Prime Minister, Dato’ Seri Najib Tun Razak include a 150 commitments including 17 main things which covers all aspects such as economy, religion, education, social, security among other things.

This can be seen as one of the best there is, a realistic commitment.

However, this event really shocked the organizers, the amount of attendance that is, but at the same time, it is exiting because this shows how the public have their confidence on BN.

This is far different than the launch of PR Manifesto in Shah Alam Convention Center (SACC) on February 25, 2013 where the number of attendance were roughly around 1,000 people, which shows that the trust among PR supporters on its manifesto is running thin.

How can there be excitement from rakyat on their manifesto when PR thinks that, manifesto is not promise, instead, they are just empty promises which can be broken.

On the contrary, BN Manifesto clearly attracted the attention of rakyat because as PM said it, it is BN’s pledge document to rakyat, this means that it is a serious matter and it should be implemented.

This shows BN’s determination in implementing all the promises they made instead of making illogical promises which will be broken in the end.

Hence, it is logical that in the coming GE13 which is expected to be held soon, Malaysians will ensure that BN will remain as leader of the government and win back a few states which fell to the hands of PR.
