ALOR SETAR: Pas president Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang has described those who accept the 1Malaysia People’s Aid (BR1M) cash aid as stupid.
 He said the cash aid would never do the people any good because it is a tool for BN to fish for vote in the coming general election.
“The cash aid is a stupid idea and the people who accept is are just as stupid,” he said at the Chinese New Year gathering, organised by Non-Muslim Pas Supporters Congress (DHPP), at Jalan Putra tonight.

Some 200 people attended the gathering.

Present was Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Azizan Abdul Razak.

Abdul hadi’s comment on BR1M was echoing the sentiment expressed by Kelantan Menteri Besar Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat, who had likened the recipients of the BR1M to “chicken and cows” recently.
