Anwar Abused Names Of World Leaders

Opposition Leader, Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on the night of June 2 had launched an election ‘war’ for the coming 13th GE even though the date of the election is still yet to be announced. Anwar launched the war in Guar Perahu which is situated in the Permatang Pauh Parliament, his area since he started joining politics.

Permatang pauh was then taken over by his wife, Datuk Seri Dr. Wan Azizah Wan Ismail as the President of PKR for a few term when Anwar was in prison at the Sungai Buluh jail on the charge of breach of trust. Just like DAP, PKR are also dominated by Anwar’s family without even having to compete for positions.

For Anwar, Permatang Pauh is just as same as Pekan Parliament, Pahang that is represented by the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, after his father, the second PM, Allahyarham Tun Abdul Razak Hussain. As well as Gua Musang Parliament with Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah and former PM, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad at Kubang Pasu Parliament. Now, Dr. Mahathir announced that he has retired frmo the world of politics but he seemed active in giving ceramah here and there.

Perhaps the thing that intrigues political people in this country is that how Anwar takes himself as other political leaders around the world including Turkey’s new PM, Hamas leader, Islamic scholar Yusof Qaradawi and the Father of India, Mahatma Gandhi.

From the image and political implication, doesn’t Anwar see his his own capability in politics? Why must he use other names for the use of his ceramah>

His ceramah also featured a slideshow in the background, making it look like a solo theatre performance.

It was recorded by KedahKini blog, and they did not really show any other opposition leaders nor those who attended the ceramah. But other leaders including Penang’s Chief Minister, Lim Guan Eng was called to the stage with Anwar after the ceramah.

In this matter, I remembered a blogger wrote in an article saying that Anwar is a great actor and he should be given the ‘Best Actor’ award for his ability to act, speak, mock and making insults to the government especially PM Najib who often targeted by him.

He did not just insult the government’s policy for not reducing fuel price, abolishing PTPTN to provide free education, Anwar even touched on personal matters involving Najib and his wife, Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor.

His ceramah was more focused on insults and mockery because none of the issues that he brought up were charged or tried in court.

That is the ability of Anwar Ibrahim in creating stories to be told to rakyat as if the issues were ‘real issues’ and that it had went through court.

Perhaps the funniest part of his series of ceramah would be the time when he decided to make a monologue, pretending that he had became the next PM after winning 13th GE.

He portrayed how Najib hesitated and unable to run away from journalists when he became the next PM and announced reduced price fuel in Parliament after he took over the country’s administration in a day.

Isn’t opposition’s rumor in reducing fuel price on the next day after they won the election has been made in their 2008’s manifesto?

Anwar also acted in a ‘sketch’ by asking a listener regarding profit for Petronas which they make RM80 billion each year and that RM5 billion should be taken to cover the cost of free education to abolish PTPTN: “How Much Is 80 – 5?”

The answer which he received was of course 75 and he complimented the listener for being smart and compared the answer to what Najib might say: “80 – 5 = Bankrupt,” Anwar mocked followed by cheer from those who attended.

The finnuer part came when Anwar asked for the name of the man who answered the question, and the name that he heard was “Najib” which then stopped Anwar from asking the IC of the man. Acting failed, perhaps?

Previously, in other series of his ceramah which he brought at Lembah Pantai Parliament which is represented by his daughter, Nurul Izzah who is also the Deputy President of PKR had caused a little chaos. Anwar also raised the same issues.

So we could say that the Opposition Leader is not ashamed in sharing about his dreams in becoming the next PM after 13th GE by using the names of world leaders.

It may be his gimmick and isn’t it unfair for those world leaders to know that he might have exaggerated in using their names? This is Anwar’s real image who is over confident in wanting to take over Putrajaya.

And like how Allah has destined, he somehow failed after the “September 16” incident because 12 million in majority among rakyat do not want to accept his leadership and chooses to keep Barisan Nasional (BN) to lead the nation.
